“When you take Melatonin with a pill, it's reasonably accurate to dose,” says Sala. “Vaping is a far less accurate way of trying to dose medication.”

  1. Is it Safe to Inhale Melatonin?

Experts, on the other hand, are concerned about the lack of scientific data supporting the use of Melatonin vapes as sleep aids. According to Christine Won, director of Yale's Sleep Laboratory, Melatonin may throw off our sleep-wake cycle if it's not taken properly, and some doctors question whether it's even helpful when taken as a supplement.
